Expert Stage: Mitchell Soccer Test
Please note my comments on this expert stage jr. high female soccer player at http://pevideo.org/node/697#comment-827. In critiquing this video of a trial of the Mitchell Soccer test, I became curious as to how many kicks in 3 trials is considered an expert score. A google search provided the link to the norms published in the 1963 Mitchell Study, which indicate this athlete is well above the intermediate (norm) level. The athlete in the video completes 18 legal kicks in this single trial, with the norm for 3 trials at 34.8 in the Mitchell study of 192 5th & 6th grade boys.
