It is important to focus on preparation for the first exam that opens at the end of this week. The "Know" section of the learning guide outlines the topics that are addressed for this exam. Of particular importance is the material in our textbook and the content I provide serves to supplement this with additional information. I would rate both exams in this class as difficult, so please come into the exam knowing the material very well. A practice quiz is also available, which you should take full advantage of.

Around the end of next week I'll be assessing your work up to mid-term using the Application Rubric. I recommend finalizing any projects you are working on now, focus on the exam, and then get other projects and interaction presented shortly after you take the exam. I will expect to see some good projects related to our first-half topics, comments on others' work, and the start of your proposal paper as I grade your work. 

After the exam, we'll dedicated some concerted attention to work on your proposal papers. Watch for an announcement to come out with further details and recommendations on your proposals.
