Here's the audio of Steven Crugan and my interview with Rob Cashell, EOU 's athletic director. I had transcripted the interview earlier in the term and had a hard time figuring out how to do the audio. But here it is! :)

Thanks for getting this audio file up. There are some instructions at the top of the page for embedding an audio player when you click the "edit" tab at the top of your post. Insert that code wherever you want the player to be (probably at the top is best). This will allow for everyone to play it directly from the post.

Sather, I went to the embed option and typed in: swf file="DS_20003.mp3" and it didn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Can anyone help me?

I was able to click on the link in the post but not on the audio player on the main site. I really think that students who are looking to go into the field to be an athletic director should listen to this interview first! A lot of people really don't understand what goes into being in such a position and I think more people would have respect for and understanding of athletic directors after listening to the interview! Great job!

It looks like you didn't include the brackets, which is a key characteristic with embeds. Embeds usually use brackets "[]" or "<>" symbols.

Good call on the brackets, you're right I didn't do that...but it's still not working! :( Do I have to edit this post from the computer on which it this file is saved on? Or can I just type the file name in since I "attached" it already? Usually downloads have a "browse" option, which is throwing me off.

I just looked at the post under edit and I'm not seeing that you entered a tag. I would have to see it there directly to say why it is not working. There is no need to change the file that is already uploaded, it is just the tag that needs to be inserted correctly with brackets and then saved. When you do this, I'll take a look at it to see what is wrong.

So I went to edit, clicked on the insert/embed button, typed in

. A Quick Time logo came up in the preview window, then faded behind a white question mark. (I'm not sure why - this is probably the problem, I tried it with other players too.) I clicked insert. The quick time logo popped up. I clicked save and ... nothing. I tried it multiple times.

LOL hey it worked! I guess I didn't need to use the insert/embed button!

Nice work! It looks good. This particular tag doesn't need the embed button on the text editor to work, but it should work either way (inserting it directly or through embed on the text editor).
