This is a great proposal! I think its great you have developed a fundraiser for your HS team that not only generates a fair amount of money for the team, but also gives back to the community. Further, creating a strong sports program begins at an early age and this fundraiser will expose young students to the sport of volleyball and help prepare them to make an impact on the HS team when they reach that age. Overall, great job!

This looks great. I like how the students will be creating the lesson plans for each day, but have to have them checked over in enough time to make appropriate changes before the camp takes place. It looks like it will be a really good fundraiser for your team.

I think you have really great ideas in this proposal! I like the mentoring aspect and how it will generate revenue for the Volleyball program at LHS.

I'm wondering why the camp is for K-6? First, that's a HUGE difference in ages. Will you divide up everything by age groups? Is there enough gym space for that? I'm not sure I'd pay $45 for my kindergardener to learn to play volleyball. In my hometown you couldn't play on a volleyball team unless you're in 7th grade. Is that true for La Grande? Maybe it would better to target 5-6th graders, giving them an introduction to volleyball and help to prepare them to play in 7th grade. Also should younger children be doing things that require knee pads? That would concern me as well as a parent of a young elementary student.

I'm also curious to why it is co-ed, and what the appeal would be for the boys. (granted, it's good that boys learn to play recreationally, but there are no boy volleyball teams)

Your brochure looks great, but is there a 2nd page I missed? It needs info about dates, cost, ages, location, etc.

Overall great plan! It seems like you've got a great start for a great program! I hope it works out for you and your team!
