This is a great proposal you have created! Its extremely organized and professionally done! I think it is a great idea. This sounds like it would be an extremely fun event, and I think it is great you have included a band and bbq! I also like how you have included giving back to the schools the participants are from. Overall, great job!

This sounds like a really good idea. I noticed though that your poster/flyer contains the waiver. I would suggest that the waiver be a separate contract that was checked over by legal council, just to be on the safe side. The rest of the proposal looks really good. I was wondering though, what happens if you do not get enough teams and donations, do you have a minimum number of teams for the event to take place? (I could have missed this when I read through)

Angela thank you for the input on the waiver. I agree it would be important to have the waiver separate on the date of check-in for the tournament. Thanks for you input!

Lasa this is a great proposal. I think you did a great job being thorough with your research and presentation. I think this is a great idea and I hope it becomes a reality because I think it would be lucrative fundraiser for local volleyball programs, as well as it would be very fun to participate in!

GREAT JOB ON THIS!!! I think it's a great idea!
Here are some Questions I had for you on this: Do you think are there enough alumni still around who would be able to play to make this a success? How are you getting their addresses? Can spectators watch, eat at the BBQ, and attend the concert for free? Charging a small fee for those things may bring in more revenue. I really like the idea of the funds going to the alumni's school of choice, but from what source will the scholarship money come from? How much do you think will be set aside for the scholarship? What if one school provides athlete volunteers but no team chooses to give that school money? Is the band playing for free? I may have missed it, but where are they playing and are there extra fees involved to set up all their sound equipment, etc?

Sorry, that's a lot of questions. But I think this is an amazing idea! I hope you run with it and it is a great success!!! Very professional as well!
