Comments

Cops and robbers is a wonderful game especially to keep the students moving all the time. I like how you used rings for cuffs for the cops, this little addition usually allows the students to feel important or that their part is very important. I also like how you divided the games into four minute sessions, this is a great idea for mixing up the roles of the students which also keeps all students involved in the activity.

I like the cops and robbers games as well. It seems to be a game that works really well with the younger students! It seems like you had the class busy and on the move for nearly the entire period... this to me really helps make a successful PE class.

The class ran really smoothly! The kids were active and had a great time! Come to find out there were no rings for Cops/Robbers but we used scarves instead (cops and robbers held onto different ends). When playing with the Parachute, one student said it was the most fun he'd ever had in PE.

It was a GREAT experience teaching these first graders! It made me really look forward to being a PE teacher someday!

WOW! that's sooo exciting...Not many people understand that feeling, But I do now and I can't wait for more times like these! Sounds like you guys did well too! See you next term! :)
