Proposal Discussion
Proposal discussions should be ongoing in the next couple days. All of the proposals should be listed here now, and if I have missed any please let me know:

Right now I am seeing mostly platitudes and positive feedback on the proposals. More critical questions need to be asked and the presenter should respond to these questions promptly. Examine the proposals as if you are on a committee that would potentially approve funding. People on committees like this are very, very tough with questions.

Comments
Prof. Sather,
Is it too late to add information regarding cost to our own proposals? For example, yesterday (during a conference on Diversity and Equity) the organizer gave me her insights into how much she pays for workshops. I presented her with my proposal and she gave me an estimate based on the economic crisis hitting the California school district and the need for my workshop.
Sure, you can update your proposal or add an addendum as a comment.
Thanks for your quick response.
My proposal is not on the list. I posted mine saturdy evening.
