Jump Roping
I found this web site about jump roping which turns out is a really good exercise and can burn alot of calories. This made me relize that times we had during basketball tryouts were we never got to touch a basketball for at least a week and we had to do regular jump ropes then we did team jump ropes. Team jump ropes we would jump over the jump rope for 90 seconds at ankle, mid calf, knee,mid calf and then ankle again. That was such a hard leg work out. It was really hard to even walk after practice.

jumping rope is one of the hardest total body workouts. I have done quite a few jumprope workouts at different basketball practices and they are just as tiring as any other drill at practice.
kids in grade school make it look easy...
