We made it to Nationals
This week my team and I have been in Sioux City,Iowa. We made it to the ship (Nationals). We played blackhills on wednesday and lost by nine. I looked around in the locker room and saw my teammates crying, this made me cry. When you spend so much time with your team you become family and when a family member is hurt you are hurt. After the game my coach didn't yell at us or talk about individual mistakes in the game or how many turnovers we had at the end intstead she said, " Atleast we ended our season in Sioux City". She talked about what a great year we had and how proud she was of us, not how disapointed she was that we didn't win. When i become a coach i will remember wednesday, and when my team loses i will remember to talk about the positive and always take the losses as a learning experience. Sioux City has been a great learning experience and i am so glad i got to go.
