Softball practice Plan- hitting

The main practice with hitting practice is to maintain focus. A lot of time with shagging balls it can become very slow and boring and in turn practice becomes slow. You do not want to let practice become slow because players start to goof around instead of working hard. Kept your player focus and into the practice and you will have a successful practice.

Will have 2 pairs in, one hitting the other on deck the rest of the time is shagging. Always in their positions unless someone is already there, they will fill in or just be an extra.

Comments

The plan included a variety of practice exercises that focus on the basics of the sport: batting, running, and catching. Nicely done! These exercises lead up to the scrimmage at the end of practice, which required mental focus to implement all elements into a whole. This is how athletes begin to combine the mental with the physical aspects of the game. Good job!
