It seems like you have a real knack for finding the controversial topics in athletics. I think that the bottom line is this. Professional athletics is about performance. Those who perform the best will obviously get to play at a higher level. If one particular race has a greater presence in a sport during one time period, it will soon be irrelevant. Trends change, athletes change, and so do the dynamics of every sport. I am not sure that anyone really needs to look at the subject any deeper than that.
I am looking at it from experience and what I see happening in my community. The trend you say is going to change hasn't since the integration of African Americans in sport. The way the economy and structure of society is built dictate where we go to find success due to oppression. There could be so many more white athletes where they are 60-70 percent of the population and we are 12 percent. This is only theory, an observation and summary of what I have experienced and read. Like love it or dump it, this is my argument againts stereotypes of genetic prowess.
