Ryan-

The amount of detail in this presentation is absolutly mindblowing. I am amazed. I think if I was on a board looking at that, my only question would be,  are your committee members paid or volunteers?

Nice work on your proposal. This seems like a very big task that requires a lot of money. The fields seem very expensive and the insurance is through the roof. I really think that you are going to have a very hard time convincing the families and coaches to come to AZ to play soccer. For one it's hot nine months out of the year and I think the families would have a very hard time coming up with all that money for airfare, hotel, transportation, and food. But you never now, it might work if the coaches and families can come together and sell their team to the community. I do see a way you could make more money to help reduce your cost. You could charge local food venders to come out to the tournament and sell their food all weekend.

I see a lot of costs covered, but nothing in the powerpoint slides about the cost of the tournament coordinator. Since they will be spending the most time with this, is there any compensation? If not, what is the hook for them to keep doing this? If it is strictly volunteer I suspect this tournament will not go on long.

In the proposal the work has been broken down in to work packages, this is allows a smooth flow of work and takes away excessive work loads. Everyone coordinator this project has committed several hours of volunteer work for Mesa Soccer Club in the past.  All the extra funds received from sponsorships and fundraisers will go directly to Mesa Soccer Club.

This sounds like a great proposal and I would be interested to see how it all comes into play and works out.

Some teams though in this economy might not be able to come up with 500.00, do you think you would be willing to do something to support them?
