Goals

  1. Participate in strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness activities.
  2. Plan and document a personal scientifically-based program for improving cardiovascular, flexibility, and muscular fitness.
  3. Analyze regular diet for strengths and deficiencies.
  4. Periodically evaluate changes in fitness levels.
  5. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and engagement in the content.
  6. Show behavior adaptation techniques including effective time management and proficiency working within a scholarly community networking platform.

Timeline

  • Every Week: Demonstrate engagement in content by presenting good quality scholarly work and feedback to others.
  • Weeks 1-2: Perform fitness testing for cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, body composition, and flexibility.
  • Weeks 1-4: Focus on exercise topics: Cardiovascular, Muscular Strength, Flexibility
  • Weeks 3-10: Log all aerobic exercises.
  • Weeks 3-4: Exam 1
  • Weeks 4-10: Log all muscular and flexibility exercises.
  • Week 6-7: Exam 2
  • Weeks 8-9: Complete a nutrition analysis.
  • Week 10: Retest fitness using the exact same fitness test you did at the beginning of the term and compare changes.
  • End of Week 10: Exam 3 (The exam closing date is the final day work may be presented for evaluation)
