Field Dimensions: Field must be longer that it is wide. Width 50-100 yards and Length 100-130 yards. Identify each line and box. Penalty box, goal box, center line, center circle, touch line, goal line.
Number of players: No more than 11 including goalie
Duration of game: 2 equal 45 minute halves
Start of play: place kick into opponents half of field
- Opponents must stand in own half of field and at least 10 yards from the ball. The kicking team must be in their own half of the field.
- The ball must be touched by another before 2nd touch by kicker
- The ball is inn play when it rolls length of ball’s circumference.
- A kick to start a game is an indirect kick
- Infringement: Replay unless it is a second touch by the kicker which will result in an indirect kick by opponent.
Ball in and out of play: When wholly crosses goal or touch line.
Offside: A player. . .
is in an offside position if nearer his opponents goal-line than the ball unless he:

- Not nearer opponent’s goal line than at least 2 opponents

shall only be declared offside and penalized for being in offside position if at the moment the ball touches or played by teammate he is in opinion of referee:

Offsides is judged when the teammate plays the ball not at the moment the person receives it.
Throw-in
- Occurs at the point the ball crossed line
- Both hands must be used and the ball is delivered from behind and over head
- Part of each foot must be on ground
Goal kick vs. corner kick: A goal kick occurs when an opponent kicks the ball past the end line out of bounds. A corner kick occurs when a defender kicks the ball out of bounds on his own endline. The opposing team puts the ball in play from the corner.
Direct free kick: A player can score on a direct kick. A direct free kick occurs when a player intentionally:
- Kicks or attempts to kick opponent
- Trips opponent
- Jumps at opponent
- Charges opponent in violent manner
- Strikes or attempts to strike an opponent or spits on him
- Holds opponent
- Pushes
- Handles ball
Indirect: To score on a direct kick, another player (opponent or same team) must touch the ball before it goes into the goal.
- Playing in dangerous manner (e.g. Attempting to kick ball held by goalie)
- Charging fairly with shoulder when ball is not within playing distance
- Not playing ball or intentionally obstructing
- Charging goalkeeper except when he is holding ball, obstructing opponent, passed outside his goal area
- Offsides
- Goal keeper within his penalty area:
- Takes more than 4 steps without releasing ball into play
- Touches again with hands before opposition touches
- Touches with hands after it deliberately kicked to him by teammate
- Delays game
Yellow card: persistently infringing laws, showing dissent, ungentlemanly conduct. Indirect kick follows.
Red card: Violent conduct, serious foul play, abusive language, 2nd caution. A red card results in expulsion from the game.
Free kick: Indirect must touch another player before a goal will count.
- Opposing players must be 10 yards away
- If in own penalty area all opposing must be outside area. The ball is in play when it travels circumference and out of penalty area.
- If in goal area take anywhere within
- In own attack area results in indirect kick on line parallel to goal line. If the foul is a direct by defender in the penalty area, a penalty kick results.
- Penalty kick: 12 yards from goal line in play after it is kicked.
Signals: Hand up indirect. Hand forward by referee indicates a direct kick.
